Nature can be a beautiful, life-giving resource or it can be a cruel force of change. Without that pressure to evolve, humanity would never have reached the heights we enjoy today. But as much as we owe our existence to the wilds of this wonderful planet, there's no denying that there are certain parts of the natural world, namely certain animals that have us shaking our heads, going: wow nature, is scary. From disease-carrying arachnids to a fish with lethal levels of toxicity, here are 10 animals to run away from.

"... inland taipan, one of the deadliest snakes in the world..."
Let's be a little bit more specific: it is the MOST venomous snake in the world... by far. Without antivenin you WILL die. That's a given. One full invenomation is enough to kill at least 289 adult men... or over million mice. You will be lucky to survive 45 minutes. The upside is in the Australian Outback there's only about 1 human per 80 sq kms (30 sq miles). It most only lives in one area of that "outback".
Lucky it's not in an overpopulated country like India where one person dies every 45 minutes from snake bite already, and that's a conservative estimate. Then again, maybe their population growth needs all the help nature can give.

Candida auris (C. auris) is an emerging fungal pathogen belonging to genus Candida which was mysteriously reported from Japan in 2009 from the ear of a person [1]. The clonal nature and multidrug resistance of C. auris to commonly used antifungal drugs in treating candidiasis have been reported worldwide including India, which is a grave concern [2]. By the end of 2018, several countries including India, Australia, Canada, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Kenya, Kuwait, Pakistan, United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia have reported multiple cases owing to Infections caused by C. auris [3]. Documented evidence from these reports showed that the mode of transmission is synonymous to Methicillin Resistance Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) [3]. C. auris tend to colonize the hospital premises and equipment like invasive medical devices, manipulations like central venous catheter, arterial line, urinary catheters, parental nutrition resulting in portal of entry into humans and has been implicated in causing a plethora of nosocomial infections ranging from a mere colonization to fungemia and invasive infections like bloodstream infections, wound infections, ear infections. Surgical Site Infections (SSI) following abdominal surgery. Predisposing factors potentiating a life-threatening C. auris infection by increases the morbidity and mortality of the patients in a tertiary care setup are long ICU stay and immunosuppressive conditions, respiratory and urinary tract infections, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, otitis media, liver diseases [3].
