Unboxing a DEADLY SCORPION ~ Is she Okay??

  • Please DO NOT handle a scorpion of this species.
They have potent venom and should NOT be taken for granted.

It’s been a while since I got a new scorpion. Well, I did get my Forest Scorpion, but this video was actually filmed a few weeks before I got the Forest Scorpion ~ I just procrastinated to edit this video. Anyway! This scorpion is a female Androctonus australis hector, the Yellow Fat Tail Scorpion. They are indigenous to Africa.

Unfortunately, this individual looks to be rather lethargic when I unboxed her. I’m not too sure why, or what was the cause, as I have no clue what she had gone through during the shipping period. It also could be that she’s an old specimen ~ From what I’ve read on a forum, they live to about 5 years (correct me if I’m wrong). Regardless, let’s all hope for the best and that she pulls through whatever she’s going through.

p/s: Apologies for the video only being in 720p. My editor didn't allow me to export this one in 1080p for some unknown reason.
